Simone Kessler (they/she) is an animator and production designer based in Chicago, IL. They love making anything that involves getting their hands dirty with materials and are interested in the intersection of traditional art techniques and animation principles. Simone is a rising junior at DePaul University pursuing a BFA in Animation with a concentration in Cinema and a minor in Production Design.
In their free time, Simone enjoys caring for animals as a cat foster parent, a part-time dog walker, and a parent to two chinchillas at their family home in Maryland. She often finds inspiration from these critters and incorporates this into her work.
